Dr. Kumar Neeraj Jha is an Associate Professor in the
Department of Civil Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology
(IIT) Delhi, India. He started his career with Larsen and Toubro
(L&T) Ltd as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and was instrumental in
successful completion of a number of construction projects of national importance. He is specialized in construction project management and
formwork. He also taught at IIT Kanpur for a brief period.
He has contributed many papers to a number of
international and national journals and has presented
research papers in many international conferences. He
teaches various courses to undergraduate and
postgraduate students in the area of construction
technology and management. He has supervised many
PhD and Masters Students. He has authored three books
titled Construction Project Management published by
Pearson Education, Formwork for Concrete Structures
published by Tata McGraw Hill and Determinants of
Construction Project Success in India published by Springer
which are widely accepted as textbooks in various
universities. He has also conducted various training
programs for academicians and practitioners in the field of
project management and is involved in a number of
consultancy projects. His areas of specialization and
current interest includes: project success factors,
organization success factors, formwork, project risks,
construction schedule, cost quality safety and finance, and
project performance appraisal. Kumar is a co-investigator
from India in this project and will utilize his expertise of
managing the projects and BIM proficiency to explore the
tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Surat.
